Engineering General Intelligence

Purpose-built AI that transforms fragmented engineering work into structured, production-ready outputs.
The Gap

Engineering intelligence, built for production

Foundation EGI began with a simple observation: the hardest engineering work isn’t happening in CAD or PLM, it’s happening in the gaps between tools. The tacit decisions, the undocumented tribal knowledge, the “figure-it-out” handoffs. The result is predictable: slow iteration, costly errors, and months spent turning solid engineering into documentation, plans, and production-ready outputs.
The Insight

General AI understands language. EGI understands engineering.

Our roots trace back to MIT, where cross-disciplinary research in AI for design and manufacturing pointed to a new path: not general-purpose AI, but engineering general intelligence—systems that understand intent, reason about constraints, and turn messy inputs into structured, verifiable engineering outputs.

We founded Foundation EGI to bring that capability into the real world, using a purpose-built LLM and an agentic platform designed for manufacturing workflows to convert natural language and engineering artifacts into codified engineering programming: making automation practical, improving accuracy, and accelerating time-to-production.
The Platform

Foundation EGI is a purpose-built AI for manufacturing.

We transform natural language, CAD, and engineering artifacts into codified, production-ready outputs—making automation practical and dramatically reducing the time between design and build. This isn’t AI layered on top of tools. It’s intelligence embedded inside engineering workflows.
The Vision

Engineering,
Reimagined

Engineering moves at the speed of intent

Ideas flow directly into production-ready outputs, without friction, translation loss, or delay.

AI understands engineering reality

Systems reason about constraints, context, and consequence—not just text—producing results engineers can trust.

Knowledge scales beyond individuals

Critical engineering insight is captured, shared, and reused, so progress doesn’t bottleneck at a few experts.

Production becomes predictable

Fewer surprises, fewer reworks, and a clearer path from design to manufacturing.

What our investors and
Customers are saying

"Foundation EGI is at the intersection of two unstoppable forces: the AI transformation of enterprise operations and of American manufacturing. Mok and his team are not just building a product — they're enabling a smarter, faster industrial future. For investors, it's a chance to back a team that's turning deep technical insight into real-world impact at scale"
Henry Ford III
Investor
"We have high expectations from Foundation’s EGI platform. It’s clear it will help us eliminate unnecessary costs and automate disorganized processes, bringing observability, auditability, transparency and business continuity to our engineering operations."
Dennis Hodges
CIO at Inteva Products
"The timing and market conditions are perfect for a company like Foundation EGI to solve what has long been a large and expensive challenge for America's industrial manufacturing leaders. The combination of Foundation EGI’s vision, its world-class team, the widespread industry appetite for enterprise AI solutions, plus the uptick in manufacturing demand makes this a rich opportunity."
